The Danube Digital Accelerator (DDAccelerator) is a 4-month remote program designed to help students, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs from Bosnia, Croatia, Czechia, Germany, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine transform their innovative ICT projects into businesses. With a focus on academia-driven technology, the accelerator offers structured support to create lasting impact. DDAccelerator is part of the CapTTict project supported by Interreg Danube.

Who Can Apply?

  • Your team consists of at least two members.

  • At least one team member is a student or researcher from a higher education institution or research organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czechia, Germany, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, or Ukraine.

  • You have a science-based project or startup with a technological focus in the ICT domain with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 3 or higher.

What You’ll Get:

  • 4-month programme: An opportunity to join a unique ICT incubation and acceleration programme, combining both cohort-style activities (workshops, webinars) and 1:1 bespoke mentoring

  • Strategic partnerships: Introductions to corporate partners in your industry for first pilot projects and customer conversations

  • Funding Expertise: Guidance from early-stage investors and public funding experts

  • Access to Facilities: Tools for your work, such as computational resources, laboratories, and co-working spaces (availability varies by region)

Application Process:

Phase 1: Submit the application form by the deadline Feb 28, 2025

Phase 2: Prepare a pitch deck, answer market questions, and participate in a country interview.

Phase 3: Conduct a market analysis, answer IP questions, interview with the International Board of Experts.
